Summary of how this app handles your data
Written by the Leasy Link engineering team as a plain-English guide to what the application actually stores and does. It is a summary for convenience, not a legal document, and it does not replace or amend the Privacy Policy above. Where the two differ, the Privacy Policy wins.

Who we are
Leasy Link is a rental management application for landlords. When you use Leasy Link to manage your properties, you are the person responsible for the information you record about your tenants. Leasy Link holds and processes that information on your behalf, and only in order to provide the service to you.
What we hold
- Your account: your phone number, which is how you sign in, and your name. Optionally your address, country, a profile photo and your billing preferences.
- Your properties: the name, address and units of each rental location.
- Your tenants, as entered by you: name, phone number, and optionally an email address, an identification number, nationality, occupation and place of work, the unit occupied and the dates of the tenancy.
- The financial record: rent and utility charges, payments, balances, receipts and statements.
- Documents and images: lease documents you upload or generate, signatures captured when a lease is signed, and photographs of utility bills you attach.
- Subscription: your plan, its status, and the record of subscription payments, including purchases made through Google Play or the App Store.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other companies for their own purposes. The app contains no advertising and no tracking technology. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not collect your device’s location.
Crash and error reports
When the app fails — it cannot reach the server, or it stops unexpectedly — it sends a technical report to our error-monitoring provider so we can find and fix the fault. That report describes the failure, not you: the type of error, the screen or request involved, and the phone model, operating system and app version. It does not include your phone number, your name, your tenants’ details, your figures or the contents of your leases, and it is used only to diagnose faults. Our error-monitoring provider records the town or city a report came from, worked out from the internet connection it arrived on; your device’s location is never read and your IP address is not stored. This is the “crash reports, performance diagnostics and error logs” category described in the Privacy Policy above.
Why we hold it
Solely to run the service: to show you your properties and balances, to produce receipts and statements, to prepare and issue leases for signature, to operate your subscription, and to contact you about your account. A one-time code is sent to your phone number by SMS so you can sign in; that is the only routine use of your number.
Who can see it
Only you. Each landlord account is separated at the database level, so another landlord using Leasy Link cannot see your properties, your tenants or your figures. Our own staff access account data only where it is necessary to support you or where the law requires it. We use service providers to host the system, store documents and send SMS messages; they act on our instructions and may not use your information for anything else.
When you send a tenant a link to sign a lease or to read the tenant privacy notice, that link is time limited and gives access only to that one document.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open, because the value of the record is its history. If you delete your account, the account and its data are deleted permanently.
Your choices
- See and export your data. In the app, open More, Privacy & data, and export to Excel or JSON.
- Correct it. Any record you entered can be edited in the app.
- Delete it. See deleting your account.
- Marketing. Product news is optional, off unless you turn it on, and can be turned off at any time in Privacy & data.
If you are a tenant
Your landlord holds your information and decides what is recorded about you. Leasy Link processes it on their instructions. Ask your landlord to see, correct or remove what is held about you. If you cannot reach them, write to us at the address below and we will help.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit between the app and our servers. Sign-in codes are stored only in hashed form, and each landlord account is isolated from every other at the database level.
Changes
If this policy changes, the version number above changes with it, and the version you accepted is recorded against your account so it is always clear what you agreed to.
